This iconic image is synonymous with a Northern Thai tradition during this month when hundreds of thousands of lanterns are let to float up the sky of Chiang Mai, and millions throughout the region. Supermoon is expected tomorrow 14 November, and it should be quite a sight of seven decades. (There was a brief ban of this centuries-old tradition that truly devastated people some years ago but I guess love won as the authorities now re-organize the airspace instead in order to accommodate the evening!)
