Wishing all our Muslim friends and customers a very happy Hari Raya! From all of us here in Bintan, Ubud and Krabi. This year is special - both our Hindu and Muslim families' celebration days are very close to each other.
In Bali, the community here has a 10-day festival of the Triumph of Good Over Evil. Started with Galungan on 15 July – where Balinese people welcome the good spirits that come down to Bali to live for the 10 days. The festival ends on 25 July with the Kuningan - a day when Balinese people decorate their homes and temples, and serve yellow rice (nasi kuning) to thank the gods for their good fortune.
